Volunteer Opportunities

With new projects in the pipeline and with us going into our busiest period of the year, we are now in a position to accept new volunteers.

Volunteering opportunity

Our volunteering sessions are every Wednesday morning from 10am - 12pm at our community garden site (SA6 5LN) and run year round apart from a 3 week period during the Christmas break. Volunteers are not expected to attend every week, but we do ask that you're able to commit to attending the majority of our sessions throughout the year.

We are an inclusive organisation and welcome people from all backgrounds and of all abilities into our garden. The site is a safe, social space for all to enjoy and experience. It is worth bearing in mind that although we try and make the space accessible to all, due to limitations outside of our control, not all paths within the garden are wheelchair accessible. We have many members who have additional mental and/or physical needs and we do everything within our means to deliver activities suited to the individual. Every volunteer is an equal and valued member of the group. If you would like to discuss your requirements further and in confidence, please contact our Project Delivery Manager, Hannah Norman at clydachcommunitygarden@gmail.com

Becoming a volunteer

To express interest in becoming a volunteer at Clydach Community Garden, please click here to complete the form. We currently have 4-5 places available and will work on a first come first served basis.

You will be invited to an open morning at the garden to meet our current volunteers and join in with our activities. At this stage you are not obligated to join us as a volunteer, we understand it's not for everybody! However if your experience is positive please let us know and we'll be happy to have you join us on a regular basis.

If you have any questions or need assistance completing the form, please contact clydachcommunitygarden@gmail.com
